“It Is All About Palestine: A Documentary”
Dina AbouZeid is a documentary filmmaker whose journey into the field began after a decade in television and news media. Seeking to go beyond headlines and into the heart of human experience, she founded Media Vision Co. in Egypt with a mission to capture memories, uncover untold stories, and offer a clearer vision of the present. With over 25 years of experience, Dina has produced impactful content for major broadcasters including Al Jazeera, Al Hurra, Alghad, and Al Araby. Her documentaries, which often explore themes of identity, social justice, and global awareness, combine investigative depth with emotional resonance. Now based in the United States, Dina continues to amplify marginalized voices through film. Her latest work, It Is All About Palestine, documents the courage of student activists confronting repression and the moral clarity of a generation refusing silence. She believes that honest, compassionate storytelling can make film a tool of resistance and a beacon of truth and transformation.
DABKE WORKSHOP With El-Funoun August 24,2025
Dancers from El-Funoun will be touring the United States in August 2025 to carry out a series of dabke workshops for beginners and advanced dancers. These gatherings promise to provide an inspiring opportunity for participants to learn more about Palestinian dabke, develop dabke skills, and make connections with community members. Further, they will support the work of a vital Palestinian cultural institution to remain steadfast in the face of overwhelming attempts by Israel to silence, suppress and erase Palestinian society and culture.
" Gaza Orphans" Fund
According to UNICEF, around 1.9 million people, are estimated to have been internally displaced, half of them children. Their homes have been destroyed; their families torn apart. Many children have been displaced multiple times, and have lost homes, parents and loved ones. They need to be protected, that is why we, APWA, has established “Gaza Orphans” fund. As little as $70/month, you can sponsor a child.
Gaza Emergency Fund
Due to the war in Gaza, we got heavily involved in humanitarian aid and we couldn’t watch without offering our support. Since October 2023, we have provided help to more than 7,000 families (more than 30,000 individuals). Our humanitarian help has been in the form of food parcels, baby formulas and diapers, cooked meals, drinkable clean water in different areas, prescription eyeglasses for the elderly and children, feminine hygiene, and much more. Our human aid will never stop as long as our people back in Gaza are still under attack.
